Microsoft Email Addresses

We have encountered an issue with sending emails to our users that have Microsoft email addresses (@hotmail.com, @hotmail.co.uk, @live.com, @live.co.uk, @outlook.com and @msn.com) which started on the 4th April 2016. The issue is that emails being sent are not getting through as they are being stopped by Microsoft Servers. We are working with Microsoft and our ISP to resolve the issue, which is unfortunately outside of our direct control. Please note this effect emails we send not emails we receive.

Update : 5th April 2016 - 20:00GMT : Working with Microsoft, we have resolved the issue we were having with their servers and Microsoft emails addresses are now be successfully delivered as of the time stated above. We apologize for this interruption to our service.

System Updates

The issue is currently still ongoing (5th April 2016 10:00 GMT) and as mentioned we are working proactively with Microsoft and our ISP to get the issue resolved as quickly as we can. Until this is resolved, users effected by this will not be getting by email their StuffAlert eBay alerts. However, all items we find for our users are ALWAYS stored in the users account under My Found Stuff. Unfortunately this issue also is impacting new users registering that have a Microsoft email address. The email verification message we send as part of the registration process will not get through for these registrants and therefore they will not be able to complete registration process, activate (verify) their account and start using our service. If you have encountered a problem with registration please get in touch with us by using our Contact Us form.

This is done by accessing your account via the website make the necessary changes by accessing your alerts via My Alerts. Also, your communications preferences (for everything other than your eBay alert emails we send you) are managed via your account profile. You can unsubscribe via any messages you previously opted in for using the links contained in those messages. Finally, if you no longer find need for our service, then as much as we would not like to see you leave, you should cancel your account with us, so we no longer send you any more messages.
